And for those who want to know the difference between dBd and dBi:
dBd is the gain of the antenna vs a dipole antenna.
dBi is the gain of the antenna vs an isotropic point source that radiates perfectly in all directions. Picture a sphere surrounding the point source. There is no perfect isotropic point source radiator. This is theoretical.
0 dBd is often considered equal to 2.15 dBi
