Haven't seen anything to better the Denon 5910 (or DVD A1XV as it is is the UK) and mine hasn't even been upgraded to provide 1080p.
After waiting for a Blu-ray player to hit the scenes which matches the SD performance, it's pretty clear that although some have 'very good' SD replay - the Denon Blu-ray players seem to be best unsurprisingly - the 5910 might now never be bettered as the emphasis is put on Blu-ray playback.
Therefore I'm keeping the 5910 for DVD playback and will get the best Blu-ray player within my budget. Makes things a lot simpler.
Best Regards,
Chris redmond.
