That's definitely not Sesame Street, but it does look like my favorite PBS station (Porno Broadcasting Service).
:-)
Anyway, as to the system, I'd get the PS3 some breathing room instead of keeping it cooped up like that. And spikes on the hardwood floor? Ouch! Get some carpet in there or a bigger throw rug: the sound must reverb like a mofo'.

Yes, the PS3 was getting a bit warm (not good), I'll see what I can do about that (maybe on the floor standing on it's side?), as to the bigger rug on the floor, yes that's on my list (as the sound isn't quite where it should be), actually going to head out and get one today.
Appreciate the comment.
Only part of it was serious. From the looks of it, you have a really nice setup and I'll bet you're proud to call it "mine".
The PS3 is best kept outside of a cabinet, as it needs ventilation. You're better off placing it on an open shelf, lying flat or standing up or even standing up on the floor next to an equipment rack. The PS logo will even rotate should you want to do this. A bigger throw rug will indeed help with reverb, since it will assist in the absorption of the sound reflections in the room (place it about 2' in front of the speaker plane). You might also want to bring the speakers about 8" forward and move each of them about 6" closer to the middle of the room. I think you'd notice a better image lock.
