make so much difference in my reception on my LCD. I have my TV ( for now) on top of my audio rack to listen and watch music DVDs and sports. I do not have a cable or satellite box ( for now ) as I watch so little TV.
When physically moving my coax cable back and forth etc. behind the TV , I can make the reception change very significantly-from almost unwatchable to pretty good ( considering the source). Is there a reason for this and how could I eliminate this problem ( once you get it right it's difficult to keep the cable exactly in place and it seems to change over time.
Thanks

It is one of two things. Either the cable wire is no good or there is a problem with the RF connector in the tv. The wire is of course the easier thing to check. Try swapping it out with another cable. If you still have the problem I would recommend locating a good repair shop.
I assumed it might be the coax. I have a combo of old coax in the house for 30 years and a new extension. Looks like it is time for an all new run.
