I have an old Paradigm Reference Servo 15 sub that has served me well for years. It recently started giving me problems. There is some rattling at the bottom end but much worse are the random popping noises when it is asked to work hard. The noise sounds just like a champagne cork popping but much, much louder. It can be a single pop or several random pops. Anyone know what might be the cause? Do people repair old subs? Any suggestions for repair in So. California?

Sounds like either what Kal said or perhaps a servo issue. My old ULD-15 did exactly the same when the servo kicked the can.
I had problems with mine a while back and it was a simple failed solder joint. Find an authorized service agent.Kal
