I have a Panasonic professional monitor from 2004. It's got some advanced controls that I haven't touched in years.
I'm currently using the monitor on my crappy entry level digital cable service which has only COMPOSITE VIDEO.
The monitor looks great on DVD's, and my old digital cable, but on this crappy composite video (using a BNC adapter), the picture has an overwhelming aqua green color.
Can someone recommend how I might adjust all the controls to get rid of this color. Which controls should I be playing with?
I don't want to go through the process of calibrating myself. So far, I haven't been able to get rid of all the aqua green. I have tried different composite cables.
Thank you

Try cranking up the RED level just to see. If the set was calibrated or adjusted for good DVD video, the red level may have been adjusted down somewhat compared to the typical "store" config...may show up more with the composite signal. Just a guess, I have never used composite video for actual content viewing in an HT system (have used for menus)...Edit: I am suggesting red may be low because it's the "missing color" gun in aqua. Don't be misled if the red level setting already looks neutral, it is often very high at neutral in some displays...just remember where it was before fooling around.

Get a copy of the AVIA setup/calibration DVD.
