Yup, Vizio for new technology...since they do current technology so well. Just as well if somebody chooses it though, it'll probably last just long enough until the real/de facto 3D standards emerge, so they'll be replacing it anyway. :)

The 3D aspect of the display isn't something that interests me. I'm sure there will be some people who would love 73" of 3D in their living room or den, but that's not me (at least not now or in the near future). What is "good" about the 3D tech is that, in order to get it as close to its intented presentation as possible, manufacturers have to step up their game in several other areas of their display technology. This will be beneficial to anyone buying these displays, whether they want the 3D tech or not (it doesn't have to be engaged if you don't want to use it). It's a win-win for 2D and 3D.
