thx for the reply. the slight differences in performance was what i was thinkin but a little unsure, so thanks for confirming my thoughts. i was told that the "better" cables ..... "offer a better, cleaner, and SAFER transfer of signal". the salesman was implying that the cheaper cables can and will harm ur TV. while the more expensive ones..(ie monstercable's Ultimate high speed HDMI)....offer a cleaner, more refined signal that is safer for the TV and will lengthen the lifespan. i wonder if this is true? anyway, im rambling now lol. thanks again for ur help/advice.

If I have a problem pertaining to audio I go to the online dictionary. Ive read all about hdmi there.Ive read about different versions of hdmi cables.
they have 1 2 3 & 4 4 is for 3d tecnology. I own a lot of hdmi cables. I find the cheapest from ebay for 1080 rez bd discs.all the versions carry 1080. the others have to do with the audio. I dont have an hdmi receiver so I only need the cheapest for picture.
mch dvd-a mch sacd & blu-ray concerts rule.
