About three years ago I purchased Monster's best high-def cable, the M1000, for our 65" Hitachi and Toshiba HD player. I recently tried Bluejeans' (bluejeanscable.com) BJC Series-2 HDMI cable, which utilizes 24-awg silver-plated copper. I have been impressed for several years with the very high-quality audio and video cables available from Bluejeans for low prices, but a top performing HDMI cable for less than $20 is ridiculous. It easily matches the Monster M1000 cable for video performance on Blu-ray (tested with Oppo BDP-83 and Panasonic BD-60 players).
