My current set-up connects a Pioneer DVD player using component video to a Rotel surround processor which in turn connects to the TV with similar cables. Now that I have got a Pioneer Kuro which comes with a HDMI connection, I wonder whether it is better to connect it direct to the DVD player (which also has a HDMI) as the Rotel does not have HDMI provision. For video, will this be a better set-up? Your experiences and advice will be of great help.
Thanks in advance.
