I have some old concert footage (on laser disc) that I wish to transfer to DVD. What's the simplest and most cost effective way to accomplish this?

you will probably need a sima product. something like go dvd or sima 2. the older ones work the same and are sold on ebay. there cheaper too. there not cheap. if the movie has no macrovision you can straight to a recorder.
