Compare them to a reputable online dealer and the price discrepancy goes through the roof. Here's an example:
Panasonic TC-P65S1 plasma
Best Buy -- $3199.99 + tax (tax for the closest Best Buy to me is 8.75%) = $3479.99
Cleveland Plasma -- $2350 + shipping ($100) = $2450
That's over $1000 difference for what? Rewards points?
Follow Ups:
I shop at BB so rarely, that I discovered that those points have a limited life span-about 3 years. I got a bunch for buying a computer there, then the next time I shopped for something there, can't remember what, when I tried to use the points I was told they had expired. I rarely go to BB.

Sometimes they have a real good deal on an item that I want. I usually check out their ad online or in the Sunday paper (if we buy one). It has probably been at least 4 months since I've made a purchase at Best Buy and I believe the last time I did it was because I stopped there to waste some time before taking my kids to the show. They wanted a Nintendo DS game from the clearance bin (OK, so I guess $9.99 qualifies as a purchase).
When I see stuff like the "firmware" debacle, I'm reminded of yet another reason why I tend to avoid them.
