I've got an original Monster HTPS 7000 power conditioner that is ~6-8 years old. It offers balanced power, separate filtering for analog/digital and video sources and has ~5 outlets. It has worked well and suits my needs.
I was considering replacing it with something a little newer (not new-new) and wanted to ask for recommendations. I was considering the bigger brother, the Monster AVS 2000. I see they now offer a Signature model.
Is Monster still considered a good recommendation for Power Conditioners? [no comment needed on their cables, or other business practices....] Any PS Audio, BP, or others that are great effective products for the money?
I need something that offers a minimum of 3 duplex outlets (6 devices) and can handle a large plasma, sat. receiver, PS3, ht processor and 7-channel amp. I have a dedicated circuit already installed. Budget range $500 to $750 (preowned, 2~3 years old).
Thanks

Get a PS audio Quintet and a good atermarket cable like the Perfectwave AC10 you can get both from music direct good thing the cable is 50% off right now with both coming in around $700. I had the Hts 2600 and the Quintet smokes it hands down, add the AC10 and you'll want more of them. deep blacks, three demenional picture and unrestricted current there will be a precieved loudness and a lower noise floor. the captive cord on the monster will never let you hear what your gear is capeable of.This is the best bang for your buck! get the most out your dedicated line. This worked out well for mine. Hope this helps let me know the results!
