I'm ready to upgrade my display from my current 50" commercial model panny plasma that I've owned for about 7 years. It's been a great display, but it's got DVI inputs and the space that it's in in could use a bigger screen.
So I've been poking around looking for what's out there. The Samsung 8000 LED/LCD's are pricey for what they are and they have all kinds of problems. A replacement for my plasma in a bigger size, on the other hand, is among the most inefficient displays that are currently available.
But, that picture sure is great.
Was thinking I'd wait until April to make the display decision when the new lines are out from Samsung and Sony to see if they've made any improvements. If not, I'll probably just go with plasma again.

...a front projector? If you really want to go big?
Otherwise, I'd stick with a Panny plasma, I really really would. Especially if you watch a lot of movies.
I don't give a fig about 3-D. It just ain't that great, and it really ain't great at home.
