I'm not having any problems with the 570. Blu-Ray playback is very good, can pause for several minutes and resume play with no problems. Netflix streaming using the wireless connection has also been very good; the player is about 15 feet from the router, every time I check it is showing 100% signal strength. So far, quite pleased.
Follow Ups:
I bought an S470 to use as a CD/SACD player with a headphone amp. The sound quality was adequate. However, the drive mechanism was really noisy. Every few seconds, there was a noise as the laser head moved. And there was a constant high-pitched hum that was audible from ten feet away, even while I was wearing headphones. I subsequently discovered that all of the Sony Sx70 machines had this flaw. I returned it and got something else.
