Blowing amps is usually the result of faulty wiring, excessive heat or defective speakers.
Follow Ups:
In first set-uo with Yamaha it was on a stand design open rack. Newer one is now in a cabinet, but with rear completely cut out to disperse heat. I checked to make sure the leads were secure and nothing had any chance of crossing so I don't think it's the wiring. Nothing blew or smells funny. The speakers are definately better than the receiver so I doubt that could be it. It never gets turned up loud or oushed very hard. I just think it comes down to cheap crap from China. Thanks for trying to help me out though.
