Less then three years ago bought a Toshiba 42 in. LCD TV
Bought a exptended warranty too.
Well the tv went up. After three tries they could not fix it.
So they say u get a new tv. I go out and they tell me I can have a low bottom 600 dollar tv. I pain 1600 for mine. Best Buy. Is this normal bussiness and what TVs are worth a damn now? And am I in the right spot to ask this question?

I bought a Toshiba 720p 42" plasma set five years ago for nearly $3000. It's still running fine, but I sold it because I wanted 1080p and a TV that gave off less heat. For less than $800, I got a 46" Samsung LCD set that has a much better picture than the Toshiba, including better blacks. I saw lots of other sets plus or minus $200 for what I paid that had excellent picture quality. Sony and LG in particular...
