Not true. Most were 1080p. I have 80+ HD-DVDs, and all but one is 1080p-one is 1080i. I still have a player. Its built like a tank, and has out lived 2 Blu-ray players.
That said, I have no idea why the OP bought the disc if he has no player.

I meant the players were mostly 720p/1080i, so I presume the 1080p capable players will fetch higher prices.
Since my current HDTV is only 720p, I'm satisfied with the $12 thrift store Venturer HD-DVD player. Once I go 1080p, I'll have to use the HTPC or WDTV Live to enjoy the full 1080p goodness.
