On a good night my PQ for streaming to very close to dvd quality.
I still prefer blu-rays, though. :)
Go to speedtest.net and see if you're getting 15-20 MBPS download speeds.

Yes, test out your internet throughput. If you are getting internet service via DSL, you will never have enough throughput to get a hi-def picture. I am getting MUCH better than DVD picture quality on Netflix HD material over a Roku XS that is connected via ethernet to my cable modem/router; typical throughout ranges from 12-15 Mbps download.
