I have a Marantz SR7000 that I need some help troubleshooting. About three years ago, I went to a purely 2-channel setup, using the Marantz only as a stereo preamp/DAC. I get ready to sell the Marantz and decide to test out the amp section, only to find that the center and surrounds sound sort of dirty or muffled.
I've tried spraying a little Deoxit into the speaker relays as well as on the binding posts, but the sound is still dirty on the center and surround amplifier portions (the front L/R amp section sounds fine). What could be causing this?
Thanks!

There might be some cables inside to try replugging. But, maybe you're better off to just sell it as-is. While it may have been a great receiver a decade ago, today those are selling for under $200 in good working order.
