The picture does not show it but the horns are very long so the racks are not between the mains, they are set back 3 feet behind the drivers and horn mouths. The racks are not flat surface like TV screen - they partly act as a diffusor. There are 2 broad bandwidth absorbing panels behind the racks. The screen is almost transparent acoustically and there are panels behind it.
