I saw a Sony 55" 4K TV at Fry's yesterday. It had the color cranked up to what appeared to be the maximum level, which really degraded the picture in my opinion. Standing back at a normal viewing distance, I didn't really see anything special. It was a good picture, but not dramatically different from a normal HDTV. Maybe it's one of those things that is not immediately apparent but takes a longer viewing time to appreciate.
