That's all I can think of that would certainly be a plus.

I know nothing about film formats and blue rays, though it would be nice to use that extra real estate to show a wide format movie, of which I believe there are some (??) that show bars on 1920x1080 screens. That would be cool.

So, apparently I should/shouldn't care! Not a technology that will be adopted so quickly considering that Blu-ray has not out-gunned DVD sales/rentals.
