One of my other hobbies is the tonewheel Hammond organ.
I went to the library bookstore the other day and bought a used dvd covering the Hammond B3.
Doesn't work in my Region 1 dvd players. Does work in my Win7 machine, however.
I wonder if I could copy them to be region-free?

DVD copy programs like DVDFab or AnyDVD will remove the region protection, but they won't convert PAL DVDs to NTSC. Most no-name DVD players (in my experience) can convert PAL DVDs to play on NTSC TVs, and there's usually a "secret" code to access a menu to change the region. The giveaway is button on the remote marked N/P or P/N, to switch the output from always NTSC, always PAL, or whatever-the-DVD-is. This also applies to certain no-name Blu-ray players.
