Not sure how it could be handshaking if it worked fine for 3 years unless one of your HDMI sources is new. Did you update firmware on any of your HDMI devices just before it started happening or could they have been updated automatically over the internet? If so, see if you can roll back the update. If not see if there are any new firmware updates to install. Have you tried eliminating the sources by disconnecting all of them except one and running your system until you are sure it is not the culprit and then the next one and so on? If one of the sources turns out to be the problem it may be the cable. Try using a different HDMI cable from one of the good sources and also a different HDMI port(s). Also try Sat to monitor without the receiver in the chain and DVD to monitor without the receiver in the chain. Try a different monitor if you can. It could be a noise issue or a component in one of the devices getting flakey, including in the power supply.
