No manufacturer makes plasma TVs any more. Panasonic quit making them in 2013. The Panasonic Viera TC-PxxZT60, TC-PxxVT60, TC-PxxST60 and TC-PxxS60 series were all very good plasma TVs with the ZT and VT being the best and the ST (and even S) not that far behind.
xx = diagonal picture size in inches. (e.g. TC-P65VT60 = 65" display)
You can still find them new if you look around and certainly used or refurbished. They were heavily discounted in 2013 but you'll pay through the nose now.

Actually i have an old Pana plasma myself .. a cheap one ... TX-P42G20E
I love the picture.
But i would like something less heavy ... a good LCD could be a fine alternative
