You might consider a Roku 3 streamer. It supports Amazon Instant Video, Netflixs, HulaPlus and many more. It uses a very simple remote with only a few buttons and not difficult to use. It does not have a 2 channel output just HDMI. You will have to use the coax, optical or analog output from your TV if you want to run audio to a stereo system.

...and just run the output from the Roku through my A/V receiver like the Comcast cable.
