Was in my local Wally World last night. They had 2 4K LED televisions that were both priced at $548. One is 55", one is 50". Picture looked EXCELLENT on both, but had to walk about 10 feet back & forth to compare.
Every review I see online is pretty positive (especially for the sound), and they have a 4 year IN HOME service warranty.
ONLY bad comments I've seen have been for gaming - which I'm not likely to do in any serious manner.
Opinions? Sure seems like a GO, and obviously, 55" might be nicer than 50"...

Had asked on another board. Someone PM'ed me a link & said it was only valid for another few hours.
Let's just say, with ebates cash back and the deal from the code on that link - I walked out the door with the 50" model for just shy of $300 (plus tax). Only issue was at the pickup window at Walmart - they had to enter the order number and the code I gave them about half a dozen times for it to show as "valid - ready for pickup" in their system & they still didn't believe it was the right price.
I'd note? 55" isn't 4K.
I'd also note? For $548, the 50" 4K unit is probably a really good deal. For the $300 I paid? I felt like I robbed the place! Screen test shows NO detectable dead pixels. Colors are incredible. Upsampling from DVD or standard def cable channels is awesome. Haven't tried bluray yet, but it should obviously be even better than DVD.
When someone just came in to my shop to send a less than 1 year old TV to Westinghouse, and the cheapest price I had to send the giant box (guessing 60+" TV) to Chino, CA was somewhere near $180? I'd DAMN glad my new set came with that 4 year in home service!!
Call me a very satisfied customer.
