1 - It's CNET, not The Absolute Sound (enter favorite decent mag here)
2 - It's a $499 receiver. Rubbish fixed power cord almost expected?

2. CNET says 9 out of 10 for SQ, Trying to find a receiver that equals my failed Sony STR-DA 5400ES especially for FM which no reviewer ever tests.
Even with Sony ES for SQ I find it is best to use the pre-out into separate stereo amp. for front speakers.
