The latest DVD transfer of the classic 1937 film of James Hilton's novel is a stunner. Huge segments of the original were trimmed over the years and f9or the DVD the producers painstakingly located the entire soundtrack and all the picture elements except for seven minutes which are very effectively covered by production stills shown as the sound continues.Ronald Cloemen stars in the fanciful tale of "outside" vistors to Shangri La, a temperate paradise hidden in the remote Himalayas. This is a wonderful, awe inspiring story with excellent acting by all.
