OK, so you are an expert - having owned "single-driver backhorns (Lamhorn, Beauhorn, Rethm, Cain & Cain, more), conventional boxes (up to big Wilsons), high-eff middle-ground (Audio Note AN/E, Living Voice), front horns including Avantgarde Trio and Cogent field coils, Maggie LRS, 1.7, 3.7, Quad 53, 63, 988, 2905... well, everything. Twice"!I suggest you need to hear some 30.1s (given T-IVas are hard to come by). Then you will hear some speakers! :-))
I've heard Trios btw - and even with the Bass horns in the system ... they didn't grab me. (It was a huge 'warehouse' listening room btw.)
