I think you'll be very happy with it, Abe.
My daughter has a '21 Premium trim with the 2.0. It has 38k on it and it's been perfect. No issues at all. The 2.0 and CVT are absolutely fine. Definitely not slow, but I wouldn't call it a speed burner either. It really does not feel underpowered. Very nimble handling, and with four wheel discs it will stop when you tell it to. It does have a sport setting for those situations where you might want a little more snap, but the trade off is mpg.
The CVT is great and a huge improvement over earlier generations. She had a 2014 Impreza with the 2.0. The CVT in it, although functional, was by far and away the weak link. Noisy, sluggish, and it REALLY let down the overall performance. This new one is, well, awesome.
