Ditto on the overseas shows. We have BritBox and AcornTV through Prime and really enjoy the British, Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian shows. The "people who watched this also watched" recommendations are usually pretty good.

Follow Ups:
Brit stuff is usually good but often I don't understand what they are saying.
I use close captioning on everything these days. Even American films. The foreign accents can be hard to get and the music in films can mask the dialog for me.
It's funny when the CC gets it wrong, but it's almost always right. The colloquialisms are fun to learn - The wife and I are always saying "mind how you go" to each other. Or changing the "ed" at the end of words to "t", as in skint instead of skinned, which means out of money to the Brits. (thanks to Vera for that one)
Regards,
Steve
I've even watched some subtitled and voice over shows/movies. Norway, Holland for example.
And clicking on "similar shows" also helps out.
Maybe I'm getting old, or maybe more open to new things (or both).
