is the best one I've seen from US this year. Truly, a brilliantly subtle performance by Damon which detonates far along in the film. Soderbergh proves again he is one of the finest American directors (perhaps the finest) working today. Along with "Bubble," this is a one-two punch not bettered by any director I can think of, not even Mr. Coen.
Very good performances, a script which has enough twists and turns to keep you fascinated, and a subject which penetrates to the core of our country. What more can a viewer want?
Highest recommendation!
Follow Ups:
A terrible director.
Which film you do like.
Ocean Eleven.
Bubble; Informant; The Limey; Che; Traffic.
All very good films, far from the Hollywood-type.
See "Bubble."
I dare you.
Notice that I didn't include Solaris not to purposefully inflame Vic....
Got to agree with Patrick on this one... not a good director. Haven't seen the Informant yet, as soon as I get the beer bottle deposit back I will order it on On Demand.
The Limey was a terrible film, I knows many liked it. I could not stand it.
Traffic? bad.
Well on this name we will never meet together.
Now why is it so?
That would a good question.
America I've ever seen.
It also is a very sweet love story.
