This film was discussed several days ago. I had not seen it since its' release but remembered I found it boring. I watched it again...still boring but better than I recall.

  Angelica H is scary good in that.
  
  She's excellent in The Dead, funny as hell in Prizzi's Honor, very good in Lonsome Dove and flat out brilliant in The Grifters.
  
  Conventionally pretty she is not. I couldn't care less.

      Not conventioanlly beautiful and certainly not "pretty".
      
      But strong.
      
      Shows a lot without DOING a lot.
      
      When was Houston ever "shrill"?? AH is generally subtle and underplays. See my post above.
