abortion in an impoverished country with poor medical services?
From Romania comes yet another gem. The female leads are terrific and the story eschews all cliché. This may be a tough topic for a man but I assure you it is well worth your time.

I guess the life of a Cambodian refugee is tough topic for an Italian, Sicilian mafia is tough topic for a Russian, Stalin purges tough topic for an American, Big Mac tough topic for a Mongolian woman...Someone who never fought in a war will never understand Paths of Glory or The Cranes are Flying... no way, no how.
Did I mention any movie with a black artist are tough topics for a white man and vice versa?
I guess nobody told you we are all humans.
Why don't you drop for good all that divisive attitude, and just start enjoying movies for what they are?
Anyway, thank you for the recommendation, I added it to my Watch on Line list, I am enjoying life with Roku, but unfortunately some of the great ones are not available that way... the Ascent was not, which will mean I will have to smuggle the DVD into the house! :)

the far greater percentage of men traditionally that have opposed abortion rights. Also, the extraordinarily high number of men that leave single moms to become deadbeat dads.
To pretend that most men are interested in the plight of women who become pregnant in casual encounters isn't very honest. I believe a common response is, "Why didn't she take precautions?"
