Help me find the title of this WW2 movie

209.5.122.95

I saw this film on Radio-Canada, our national tv braodcast, in the late 80s or early 90s when I was still a kid. So I just remember some scenes.

1st part: a young group of rebels "fight back" the germans.

2nd part: the couple who are the main characters is this film, are seperated at a checkpoint, they are sended to the concentration camps. During that scene, a baby was killed or leaved by her parent on the street hiding in a bag.

last scene: war is over, the girl walked on the road and seems to be lost. Finally, she crossed her man on the way.

other scene: they make love for the last time, because they may never see each other again.

a clue: those who have seen it would consider it as the best war movie ever made or simply the best movie ever made. And could the title be "Rage de vivre" in french. I tought that would be the case, but my video stores couldn't find it. I know they have it, because they have them all, I only need to find the title.

btw, it not Europa Europa, Red Cherry, Stalingrad, Soldier of Forturne or the 2 very overated films from Spielberg.

thanks in advance.
