Thank you Dave. I have not seen that film, unfortunately. I do believe that the most piercing way of showing the true horrors of war is not through pouring barrels of red paint, but throgh the faces of the people affected by it. These usually make for the most memorable films. What you are describing brings to mind Remark's novels, and that theme shall never go away, for as long as we keep sending our best to defend ourselves.BTW, the film is available on Amazon, and probably other used tape sites, but the price... $64.98 is steep! Note the list of $19.98.
