you're not alone - make it 25 years.a.o. scott (new york times) called it the most satisfying bond movie since "the spy who loved me" (late '70s). the new york times critics are generally tough on movies too (okay, maybe not as tough as victor).
on rottentomatoes, though, about half of the critics didn't dig it.
i haven't seen a bond film in 15 years - should a non-bond fan give this a try?
