Depp was fantastic and Landau did deserve his Oscar.Say what you want about the real Ed Wood. Yes, he was probably the least talented director in the history of motion pictures BUT he was eager and his movies do have a certain screwy charm. Plus, he deserves admiration for his attempts to help Bela Lugosi. He, at least, gave the old man some dignity during his last days. So what if the movies stank, at least old Bela was working.
