Yes,wonderful film. We have a satellite channel here in Australia called World Movies, run by our own SBS national terrestrial TV service.
we saw this film some time ago, > a year at least.
It is a wonderful story. The girl is wonderful. The Emperor is the ceramic warrior guy.
He was a heavy piece of gear that feller.
see if you can catch "Farewell my Concubine" set in the 20C around the Beijing Opera. Marvellous, first time I could relate to Chinese opera, at least the solo 'arias'.
