Know what current movie that graffiti is from?Saw it yesterday. While I'm not exactly recommending the thing, it was a perfect Sunday afternoon B-grade heat-beater.
You've read that it's a zombie movie. Never mind that. The whole first part is a set-up for what comes next -- the *real zombies*. Damn good, that.
The tone however is often too lighthearted. Escaping town, the survivors go "shopping" in an abandoned but inexplicably-still-fully-stocked supermarket. They dash around with their carts, cracking funny. Nor is there ever any discussion among them about the nature of their would-be attackers. Weird. Plus the supermarket is super-lit, despite all electricity being out; I hate lighting directors!
Still, what do you expact from B?
The sound track has the widest dynamic range I can recall hearing in the theatre. At one point a lullaby is sung in the background *so softly* that it's almost not there, but you can understand every word. Eerie!
