first fifteen minutes, all tension disappears and splatter takes over the director's chair. It's the type of movie where people do things for no apparent reason, even SAYING it's a dumb thing to do. Geesh.
One could go on and laugh at the teen movie morality (these guys were adults, for god's sake...) wherein hero and heroine barely kiss, from some sort of moral unease--but why? A horror/sci-fi movie that has negligible scares and no sense of humor impales itself.
