If you have a typically Amurhrican sense of humor you might get a few snickers out of this film. If you find English humor amusing you will get a few really good laughs.
Rowan did manage to hold off from the "Full Bean" approach to give a predictable but amusing performance. Unfortunately, Malkovich probably deserves the prize for Worst French Accent. (But, Brit humor being what it is--it was probably intentional.)
The hijinks concluded with a moment that would have fully satisfied Edmund Blackadder and all his descendants. Of course, it was fully intentional. 8^)
