I truly loved this movie.

It is about as tasteless and over the top as a mainstream movie can be. The sexual content is striking in it's myriad perversions. While it has a relatively happy and redemptive ending, it in no way pulls it's punch or goes soft the way virtually every other treacley holiday film does.

Director Terry Zwigoff (Crumb, Ghost World) continues to show that his vision of the fringe of society is right on target.

My new favorite X-mas film.
