I am a fan of Thornton, Ghost World, and am as fed up with commercial Christmas cheer as anyone, but yes, I do have a problem with the language in the movie. SR below is right about the borderline child abuse. You who like this movie must not be parents. Yes, I saw plenty of under 17s in the movie, with and without adult accompaniment.Your sermon for the day, mock it all you wish: It makes me sick how low we have sunk as a society and really can't believe that this thing is screening in American theaters. Go to xanga, read at random some kids blogs, and tell me that the culture and media aren't affecting their language. Am I the only person bothered by this? My dad would have whupped me into next Christmas had I begun to utter even one of these words publicly. But oh yeah I forgot, there aren't any dads anymore. Meanwhile, most of these kids can't think, spell, reason, or calculate. End of message.
