And wads of money corrupt absolutely. Last night I watched (or tried to watch)"The Last Witch Hunter," which had a decent cast, including no less a figure than Michael Caine.
Special effects overtook everything. SFX are the new chase scene, and logic or plot be damned.
The best line in the whole picture came from actor Joseph Guilgun, who told an assemblage of witches and warlocks, "you look like a terrible Eighties band."
