It will probably do fine during awards season. Yesterday RT had it at 82/82. Today (one day later) it's 82/77 . . . an actual audience seems to be less enthralled than reviewers. A couple of professional reviews I've read have noted that European cultural gatekeepers (director here) love to portray the U.S. as a hotbed of political and social anarchy, chaos and budding fascism and yet historically it's Europe where this actually occurs. Projection or cautionary warning? I'm curious about it but am not sure I'm ready to make the investment in money and esp time in something so downbeat. Maybe we'll get the real thing in a few months anyways . . .
