I didn't know that. Thanks. I notice that he stutters on the word "falsity" when he tells Marion that birds actually eat quite a lot (he'd observed before that she eats like a bird). I've always wondered if he wasn't about to say "fallacy" instead, which is the kind of word Norman might find disturbing, since it sounds like "phallus."
