People that work in the arts (i.e., music, film, painting, books, etc.) have to make a living and are deserving of every penny from their copyrighted materials! There are rare exceptions, as when the artist doesn't mind his/her work being freely taped or when non-commercially released work is offered to fans by fans, although that can be a gray area dependent upon the quality of work offered and the impact on sales of the consumer product.AuPh
